Yesterday I sent out a tweet asking how one overcomes their fears. Fear is a crazy thing. I thought I originally had such a strong feeling toward handling fear, as my fear mantra has always been:

Fear isn’t a good enough reason not to do something.

In this instance, my perspective on fear was different. Fear manifests itself in all kinds of different forms - it can be unfamiliar territory, or out of your comfort zone. Yesterday I looked at fear in the form of a 70 pound dumbbell; unfamiliar and terrifying.

In the end it came down to one thing: belief in oneself.

So what do you do when something scares you? Conquer it.
